client homes

Welcome to this collection of real homes — because nothing showcases my contemporary abstract paintings better than seeing them in the spaces where people truly live. Mock-ups can be useful, but authentic environments reveal so much more.

These examples highlight not only the individuality of each home, but also the personalities and lifestyles of the people who live in them. Whether created for private clients, interior designers, or collectors from international projects, my abstract works — from large formats to small pieces — show how they harmonize with a wide range of interior styles.

You’ll see how each painting adapts, enhances, and interacts with the unique character of every space and their residents.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who kindly allowed me to share photos of their homes. And if you have one of my pieces in your own space, I’d be delighted to receive a photo from you as well!

Solo on Vert by Daniela Schweinsberg, a large contemporary abstract diptych, displayed in a private home in Munich, Germany. The reduced green composition contrasts beautifully with a deep green wall, and the natural greige linen adds a refined, harmonious touch — showing how abstract art integrates into modern residential interiors.

Here you can see "Solo on Vert", a large contemporary abstract diptych, in its new home in Munich, Germany. It’s a beautifully reduced work with green elements and marks that seem to dance across the width of the piece. The deep green wall creates a perfect dialogue with the painting, and the natural greige linen adds an elegant, understated harmony to the space — a wonderful example of how abstract art can integrate seamlessly into a collector’s interior.

Large abstract painting “Bleu, Je t’embrasse” showcased in a modern New York living room; custom blue contemporary artwork on raw canvas placed above a sofa between two windows; interior design styling by Cochineal Design.

This is "Bleu, Je t’embrasse", a large‑scale contemporary abstract commission created for an interior design project in New York, USA. The piece was developed based on the client’s preferred color palette and another artwork of mine used as a reference.

For me, it’s a wonderful example of how a large format painting doesn’t necessarily require a huge amount of space. This work was intentionally chosen to fill the area above the sofa and between the windows almost entirely — yet thanks to the airy, dancing motif on raw canvas, it still feels light and far from overwhelming.

Summer Wine by Daniela Schweinsberg, a large contemporary abstract painting (140 × 287 cm / ~55 × 113 in), displayed in a private home in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. The oversized mixed‑media work on paper is mounted between two acrylic glass panels, showing a modern framing solution for large abstract art in residential interiors.

This photo shows "Summer Wine", a large format on paper in its new home in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. It’s a particularly interesting example of how a very large work on paper can be framed:  The collectors chose to mount it between two acrylic glass panels — a striking and elegant way to present such a large contemporary abstract piece.

A large format for a large space — “It’s Getting Hot in Here” in its home in Capistrano Beach, CA, USA. Vertical abstract dark blue gray painting “Midnight Sun” displayed in a contemporary Pinecrest, FL home; reworked and re‑signed to match the collectors’ interior; bold modern artwork adding dynamic color and energy to classic residential design; photo courtesy of the collector.

Sometimes collectors see things differently — when the collectors of “Midnight Sun” first reached out and said they’d love to hang the piece in another orientation, I hesitated. To me, it had never been a vertical painting. We exchanged photos of the room, rotated and placed “Midnight Sun” digitally… and it was perfect. I reworked the piece, signed it again, and now it lives in Pinecrest, FL, USA.

This is “Paradise Sunset”, now living in Wichita, USA. A modern, elegantly understated interior — and a painting that sets the perfect focal point with its color and vibrancy. I had a wonderfully warm exchange with this collector and know that the piece now hangs in a different spot, and she even painted the wall behind it in a soft sage green just for the artwork.

With its bold scale, vibrant color, and dynamic movement, it’s the perfect eye‑catcher on the wall beside the gallery‑like second level of the house.

“Dream Myself Away” was a commissioned piece. The client wished for a painting with green as the main color, and together we defined the format. Extra large oversized monochrome diptych “Getting High on Red” displayed in a contemporary modern home in Brilon, Germany; bold red abstract artwork providing a striking focal point without overwhelming the refined minimalist interior.

One of my largest works to date: “Getting High on Red,” a monochrome diptych. I remember well how my studio space at the time just allowed me to place both panels side by side! While painting, I kept wondering whether anyone would ever have the space for such a large piece… and funnily enough, it found a new home in Brilon, Germany quite quickly. It fits this contemporary‑modern house perfectly — a true focal point through its color and scale, yet not too loud to overpower the refined simplicity of the interior.
